front bumper project

^^^BEFORE^^^

i picked up some 2 3/8" pipe, angle steel, & some other misc metal from the scrap yard for about 40$.

only strong enough mount point is the factory hook locations, bought some stronger and longer bolts for about 14$

not having a tube notcher sucked but i made due with a drill press both for the main verticle tubes and the small gussets

i forgot to take some pics in between but as you can see with out a pipe bender it was all angles for this guy

i figured i had plenty of extra metal so making an extra angle support made sense

buddy of mine helpin with the final welding and cleanin up

first coat, i primed as well

yes im a noob welder

two coats, used three cans, 7$ a piece

installed and undergoing the high lift test

passed and approved

now for the rear bumper....................................
