I went to go see Yosh2000 (Josh). He was able to make arrangements in Temecula so Ron and I could have this mod done. We had to wait until he was back in Temecula to see him.

Check him out. He charged us $60 each. That also included the steering wheel. Although, I would suggest you check with him since he ultimately determines the price.

Let him know in advance if you want the door light (AUTO) done. I would have liked to have had that done, but I didn't plan it. The steering wheel for sure. I think my light on the fog switch is out. I went back out to look and its not on. Oh well.

 

My fog switch light was out for the longest time, then one day it came back on...

 

Haha. Yeah, I think mine has a little attitude as well. It's all good. As long as the fog lights themselves work.

I don't see why not. We'll have my truck there as a guide. Do you have the green paint already? Is it flat or shiny? Do you have some sandpaper? Of course we should sand it down before repainting it. Who's pad are we doing this at? Haha. So many questions. Yeah, I'm looking forward to this too! Should be "good times" ahead.

 

Paint and sand paper check! Just gotta wash all the mud off or atleast the scoop . Where ever is good, if you want to meet up at your place that's cool or inbetween. If anything we could go on the base I work and do it if it's the halfway. The paint is the Ultra Flat OD green. What do I need for the fogs?

 

Would I even be allowed on the base? Not sure where you live, but I'm on the east side of Chula Vista. It really doesn't matter to me.
As far as the fog light mod is concerned, I think we'll need a small piece of 14G wire, a connector (pictured) and one of those little splicer things to connect another wire. That should be it.

pfff I stoped counting a long time ago. lol. Im sure I can do it but now its just something that you need to do since you have bailed an innumerable amount of times.

When do you want come over? I don't remember you having a CB, but I could be wrong. Give me call and we can set up a time & date. BTW, I think we'll end up having a mini mod day here again with a select few since I don't have a lot of room.

 

Sure thing! I have had a cb for a while, just no permanent mount. I usually just slap it into the cupholders and use a magnetic mount when we offroad. BUT what id like to do is get a nice mount so all id have to do is screw on the antenna and off id run.

This weekend wont work (SUPERBOWL) but maybe weekend after??

 

I'll get a mount ready for you. I need to prep about three total for two other members. Haha. We'll keep in touch about getting together.
