A few updates, finished painting the kit and bumper. I also installed some rear spacers that the TC kit actually calls for as well as some hubcentric rings. Next up, some top springs and hydro bumps for the front.

Is this truck your daily driver? How are the steering tie-rod heim joints holding up in terms of wear?

This is in fact my DD. The heim steering works well and holds up just fine. No signs of wear so far.

That was just temporary until I got my top springs. It's been a while since I've updated. I'm working on updating it now, haha.

    Alright, updates are loooooong overdue.

Somewhere along the way, I installed some 38 mm wheel spacers to clear the double bypass and smooth body shocks that are mounted via the Total Chaos Dual Shock Hoop kit. The kit's instructions call for 1.5" spacers to be used in the rear.

    IMG_2427_zps76fe0dd1_15dcc219c6891a96a7085796dd2eab0229ce925f.jpg

Installed some 3x6x500 Viper Coil tender springs a while back. Big shout out to Dean over at Profender USA for the hookup and quick shipping. Got to me in just 2 days! They carry Viper coil springs and offer a variety of sizes and weights. You can PM them here.

Another big shout out to blackhawke88 (Aaron) and his roommate Max for helping me with the install. Thanks again guys!

No more stinkbug...kinda, haha. Before (top) and after (bottom). Also you can see that I took some of the Plasti-Dip off the barrel of the wheels that the previous owner had sprayed.

    IMG_2446_zps16391dd8_0465e991364a9cadacf6aa93b99613ef32761e71.jpg

Bought some steering rack boots to cover up the exposed rack. Had to find some boots that had a big diameter on both ends so I picked up some for a BMW 3-Series. Tight fit, but worked out perfectly.

Here's a random pic of my rear suspension at full droop.

    IMG_1613_zps3e7dfc5a_bedbf67ee3f6cf217461a9e2787cb6247106fd19.jpg

This next pic made me laugh. I came across someone on Dezert Rangers who had spotted me. He took a pic and posted up here. The posts are priceless, hahaha. Yes, I drove like this for a while back when the American Motorsports kit was still in the works.
