Well boys and girls.... it all begins now. I've owned my Double Cab TRD Off Road for a grand total of two days. Ive already ordered the Tuffy Bed Box and the shark fin satellite antenna cable, no use in having the big ugly Sirius Magnet antenna if the factory has provided one for me. I think the next order of business will be to change out the chrome grill for a mesh one and install some 6 inch lights behind it... Wish me luck... I think this is gonna be an expensive hobby.

Just installed the Tuffy locking bed box... couldn't have of went easier... although the bottom screws were a little tight. Just pushing down on the box, while tightening the bottom screws, corrected the issue. I also had to tweak (bend) the latch in order to get it to lock easily. I also hooked up the factory shark fin satellite antenna to my Sirius. I ended up taking out the dummy plug located next to the cigarette lighter, notching a small hole on the top portion of the face of the plug and running the power and aux cable through the notch. It works great and you can’t see the notch because the wires fill the hole, and the overhang of the dash hides it. The rest of the wires, that go to the Sirius head unit are behind the dash and come out right above the steering wheel column. It looks clean… and isn’t that the point?
Thanks again, to everyone who put out the threads, that gave me the heads up, on how to pull the dash apart and where the location of the plug to the shark fin was located.

Just finished installing the TW Group Buy HID headlights from Slimcubby, after following the directions that were provided in the link.(it took me a little over an hour) The lights fired up perfectly. These lights are incredible the low beams are brighter than my stock highbeams, and the new highbeams are amazing. If you want to do an easy mod that really makes an impact... buy these lights they are well worth it.:D
