Yea I screwed my bed pockets in place. I also put sealant around them and the storage containers to try to limit the amount of dirt and water getting into the bed (since I have the tonneau cover I try to keep it clean for gear storage back there).

Here's a few pictures of how my Cobra CB and Garmin 60csx are mounted:

    CB_86d0702b9ed19385079488aceefa414e053fa3a5.jpg

The entire CB is contained in the handheld. The quick disconnect box is hidden within the dash and the mic's cord runs down through the steering column. It fits perfectly because I can pull as much or little cord out as I want, and it will stay that way because the coils grab the edge of the plastic.

The GPS is in a RAM mount and I have run my external antenna's cord through the dash. It comes out the bottom of the tray's bottom. The power is a simple 12V cigarette lighter plug. This way I can grab the GPS out of the mount, unplug power, unplug the antenna, and bring the GPS with me on foot or in another vehicle (and have the 12V adapter to plug in to preserve battery life).
