thank you. currently i'm building a "dummy" box for a sub. another change i'm making is a single 10 inch sub from kicker. i'm going to place it behind the drivers side of the bench and mount the amplifier behind the passenger. I'll be using the holes in the support on the cab to hold everything in place. will post pictures later.

From a foam dummy box to the first cuts of 1/2 inch MDF. anyone have any suggestions for cutting angles on the boards that will allow me to place the face board at an angle so the sub won't be hitting the bench seat?

ok i pre-wired the truck since the runing of the wires is supposed to be the longest part of an install. i cut the bottom of a rubber tube under the wires on the right side of the engine bay. i ran the power wire through the drivers side and the audio cables on the passengers side. i have yet to find a place for the grounding wire. any suggestions?

ok i have the baox almost done, all it needs is the carpet to match the interior and its done. i'm going to also start the board the amplifier will be mounted to for the clean look. all of the audio wires have been pulled for the amp and basically all i need left is for the apm and sub to come in tha mail.

    Update!!!

lowered the rear end of my tacoma.
a one inch block gave me the stance i want. it changed how the truck drives only a little. i don't feel as much a lean when i carve my corners in my daily commute.

got the tail lights on now. the instructions were a little sketchy, but i'm glad i'm at school for automotive. got them buttoned up and its a very nice aftermarket light. i'm gonna try and post a picture of the lighs being used at night when i get off work.

P.S. i blew the clarion subwoofer today. tried testing out an amplifier i fixed and the whole thing shorted. boom boom is gone. :pout:

kicker has a 12 inch shallow mount. my only issue is building a box that will be dead on with the volume. i've been measuring all morning

new sub and box is in. it hits with the power of a kicker sub, but has the clarity of a JL
