So here is my build page. Here are some pics of my NEW baby stock. For those who don't know I was in an accident and totalled my other Tacoma:

I like the looks of your bed. It is super clean.

 

So my first real upgrade for the truck was a new headunit. I purchased a Pioneer Avic-Z110BT (DVD/Nav unit). Also bought the texturted aftermarket h.u. kit, wiring harness, ipod connections, back-up cam, 2010 tailgate handle, and a pop-n-lock 8521. Here are some of the pics of the install and aftermath:

So like the title says, I debadged my truck and removed the golden pinstrips. I felt it was a little too naked so I added a nice little touch. Here's some pics:

 

Had my truck in for the rear leaf spring TSB. Rides much better and also came with new shocks all the way around.

 

So I did my L.E.D. mod this last weekend. I ordered the L.E.D.'s from oznium.com. Little did I realize how small they are. I've done some soldering in the past but nothing that small. Nevertheless I took my guages apart and off I went desoldering the old lights and installing the new ones. I went with white numbers/meters and red odometer, turn signals, gear display, headlights on symbol, and 4X4 symbols. The needles were already red so no mod needed there. Here's a pic for ya:

Truck looks good! Any future mods?

 

Hope to get an exhaust, black rims, paint my calipers, change out the other lights in my truck to match the guages, lift maybe, CAI, tint and better tires. Maybe more as I think of it. Ideas and suggestions for my truck are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the support.

 

I know a lot of members here swear by the N-Fab but I like the look of the nerf bars personally. I bought them from autoanything.com on wednesday night and received them Saturday. I'm am really pleased so far with the ease of install, stability, speed of delivery, and overall look of the truck. Here's some pics:

 

For those of you who don't know I totalled my truck going on a vacation to Reno. Thankfully no one was severely hurt. Here is a link of the thread that has more info and pics.

 

Out from the ashes of what remained of my 2008 red Tacoma came My new 2008 Silver Tacoma 4X4 with the TRD Sport package. Overall a better truck than the red Tacoma (except their were less impulse red Tacoma's on the street.) Waiting a week before delivered to me.

 

nice choice on the new truck! sorry to see your truck was totaled, but i'm glad nobody was severely hurt.

 

Once again had to change out the stock stereo to the Avic Z110BT. Great stereo and it survived the crash so back in it went.

 

Next in line is a lift kit. OME kit from toyteclifts.com and Total Chaos UCA's.
