Loiman20's magnetic grey build

Hello every one this is my magnetic grey build! i got her in November 2009 this is
parked right outside where i work.


just put on the bull bar, nerf bars and some BFG AT 265/75/16. 2 inch spacer my friends got me for my b-day.


i put on a OEM roof rack. With satoshi grill, i love how it makes
my truck look.


satoshi grill- i tried the cutting out pieces and bonoing it and it didn't really work out for me.
so i tried the fiberglass approach and i found that way much easier imo.


Home made bike rack from stuff at home depot, i love it it fits 5 bikes perfectly! also pictured is my pace Edwards jackrabbit Tonneau cover.


My Father is a custom fabricator and powder coated my bull bar for me


new wheels eagle alloy 137!


I finally got this in the mail yesterday and had a chance to put it in. took about 45 minutes.
i really love the throaty sound it gives the truck. i do notice some performance gains.
i don't know about fuel economy yet. ill keep track of it.


This is how she sits today, i painted the nerf bars black to give it a black and chrome theme.


next project will be some seat covers and a leaf pack in the back possibly

I got my PIAA lights in the mail today they are the 520 ATP lights. I have not wired them up yet, i will get to that tomorrow. Heres What they look like mounted on my bull bar. The only problem i rand into was that the bolts that came with the setup were too short. So i had to rig it with some longer bolts, no problem.

Finally got my lights wired decided to mount the switch here.

 

Installed some Spidertracks 1.25 all around. I really like the look. Took about 35 min.

Color matched my grill. This was in Hyde Park Utah. It was raining that day.


i also added some bed lights. I attached Them to my homemade bike rack. I also went to lowes and bought some bed liner spray to spray
the back with. it gives it more grip so my German Sheppard wont slide around. hahah


some weather techs front and back. Im so glad i have these while mudding. they clean pretty easy.


i finally got a pair of the billies. and now I'm just waiting for the rears to be in stock. I set Them at 2.5, my only problem is now my abs and vsc light is on. from my research its because a wire got stretched or smashed. i have no idea how to fix it. and i don't wanna go to the stealership. if any one knows how to fix it. please shed some light.


I put on my toy tech 2 inch aal just last saturday. it was fun. took about 3 1/2 hours. haha second side took a lot less time.


i got the AVH-p3100dvd deck. with the metra double din dash i got from Amazon. i put it in and hooked up the rear view camera to it. also the video ebrake bypass switch, so my passengers can watch a movie while im driving.


i also have a sub on the way. from taco tunes.......i dont think i will order them again. just a heads up for any one who wants to order from them. its been almost 4 weeks and i have yet to get it.

i bent my nerf bars.....im gunna get my dad to fabricate me some rock sliders.

Nice truck. Thanks for the pics I have the same color and the pics really help me out to see what I should do for mine. Just need to come up with some extra cash first

 

What steps did you take to color match your grille? Supplies. etc....?

 

www.paintscratch.com that is where i got my color in a spray can. you can also buy an enamel and grease wax remover. thats what i used i think it ran me like 40 bucks?
i primmed with basic auto primmer i bought from wallmart. after sanding the chrome down with 100 grit sand paper. you can dry sand in between coats if ya want.(i used 500 grit and up) clean the surface with soap or grease wax remover. i did 2 coats of primer. then i applied on the paint i bought from the site. i applied 3 coats, let it dry. wet sand in between coats. and then you lay on the enamel and did 2 coats of enamel. after it was dry i buffed it by hand with 3m rubbing compound. this gave me a good polished finished.

did yellow fog light mod. also fog light anytime. its really easy. just followed steps from a member here. this is the closest one of my grill i could find.

 

Are those BFG's E rated? If so, how do you like them?

 

Yeah they are. I like them a lot no noises on the road. I've also towed our boat no problem.

 

Oh yeah! I'll have to get some pics up I even got the windows tinted for free I'll post some pics tomorrow
