My ipod sits on top so that if one of my buddies wants to throw their ipod in it's easy. My ipod has a cracked screen, it's only good for downloading music onto it and using with my headunit since i have the full ipod controls on the alpine iva-w505. I could care less if anything besides my pistol gets stolen in my truck, the reason for the console vault is to protect my pistol should someone break into my truck. I also have cash and my checkbook in there.

So i haven't updated this in a while, been working on my winter project for the last 5 months building a honda s2000. Here is the build thread for anyone interested.
    http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/index.php?act=ST&f=67&t=834763&st=0

I'll be back on the truck in a month or so, starting with rims and tires and some custom parts i will be making available for sale and putting on my website. Right now custom parts in mind are storage boxes to replace the cheapo plastic ones in the bed, my bed light mod, and a spare tire carrier.

Figured i'd update this for once in a long time here:

Brought the car down to my buddies shop last night after work. Ended up renting the uhaul which worked out pretty well. It's just nice to have a truck sometimes, that's all i've gotta say...

Finally getting back to a couple things on the truck. Dropped the mirrors off at harts collision this morning for painting. Getting them done up 2010 super white to match the truck like the trd sports. Also bought some 4 wheeler handgrip heaters and i'll be adding heated mirrors since the lack of them really sucks during the winter. Need to get another carling switch with the logo for those and put it in my center console.

Your truck looks great! I really like what you've done with the interior... I think of your truck as something I want mine to look like eventually. If you ever start modding bed lights for people, I'm defiantly interested

    Thanks Redz

Put the Mirrors back on this weekend and have them all set. Also put the heated element pads inside them to take care of some ice during the winter months. All i need to do it hook them up to my carling switch now.

Also took 20 minutes and a heat gun and debadged the front doors this weekend. I like the clean look without them. I want to take off the v6 SR5 on the tailgate now

god damn dude. i dont know where to start. for one, do u know somebody at this line x place? cuz that is cheap. wow. secondly, the thing about ur truck is that it doesnt have anything CRAZY nice on it, but its so damn clean. so many little things that just every pic make it cleaner and cleaner. all the line x is awesome, the crossover setup is some of the cleanest work ive seen, and the tweeters do look really nice. obviously u guys r fans of jl? haha. anyways, so a few questions. all the line x in the car, i was planning on doing some duplicolor spray on for a bunch of shit on my truck in the interior, does it feel rough on the skin? like, does it scratch you/passengers? or is it nice? and does it fade over time or what? and where can i buy that fatmatt rattletrap stuff, i mean im a firm believer in sound deadening, and that shits not cheap, but if its truly that much cheaper than dynamat and that much better then why not. next i commented on one of ur speaker ring threads, im interested in some rings for my 1st gen, let me know. and just yea, your truck isnt amazing in everyones eyes im sure, but i pay attention to detail and theres alot of hard work in that truck making sure its clean and i can see that. excellent job, probably the best ive seen on here. please answer my q's, based on how well u respond with pic for people, i take it u have time to answer my few questions haha

thanks. The line-x is a great product. It has a uv protectant so it doesn't fade over time, it doesn't chip and it's smooth on your skin as well. I don't really have a "hook-up" at line-x but that is just what is costs. If you want something sprayed and it's a small piece have them charge you per-click-rate, it's cheap that way. I can do speaker adapters for the first gens but i need you to send me your speakers first so i have a template, i have no template so that's why i haven't made them yet. I would deffinately recomment the line-x, it's good stuff.
I buy the fatmat on ebay, but they have a website as well. And i highly recommend JL, it's great quality and amazing sound and best of all made in the USA.

    thanks

Haven't done much on the truck lately so i thought i would post a quick update. Finally after about a year i got my bed-xtender painted black and put it together last night. I just printed off the drill template at work so i will likely finish up that project tonight.

I also still need to wire up the heated mirrors to the carling switch i got, it's starting to get cold here in ny.

Should have pics in a day or two
