spindle lift with dakar leaf pack, blacked out headlights and tailights, satoshi, debadged, HID headlights n fogs, flowmaster 40 single in dual out
after two years, i finally get to join the "lifted" truck club!! it started out as a stock 2005 prerunner trd offroad. the first thing i did was get tints. i live in miami florida so its really f*%$ing hot. then i added the sticker because i wanted a lil extra hp. i got really bored of that really quiet exhaust so i opted for a flowmaster 40 single in dual out. im not gana post up a video because theres way to many of those. maybe when i get my DTLTH. after drooling over all the lifted trucks on this forum, i decided to do it myself. after a lot of research i decided to go with the 4" camburg spindles and 2" blocks in the back. i was very please with the amount of lift it gave me. the only problems i had with the install was grinding down the caliper and trying to remove the old spindle from the ball joints. i ended up ripping the grease filled boot of the ball joints so i had to get new ones. after i finally saw the finished product, i wished i got 3 or 4" blocks because i like a little rake. not level or cali lean. later i put some shoes and socks oh her. i went with 16" mickey thompson sidebiters and 285/75/16 goodyear wrangler dura-tracs. im very happy with how it looks.
not really much of a power difference that i can tell but i dont floor it much anymore due to the new tires. there is a considerable difference in gas mileage though. so now i drive like a granny. well hope you guys like the pics.

perty truck, I like Silver! (yeah mines silver too)

I had the blocks on my truck and had nothin but trouble with the factory springs. I removed the blocks AND the factory springs and went with the OME 2.5" 7 pack springs. MAJOR improvement, and the lifted springs actually gave me about 3/4"-1" more lift over blocks (every truck will probably be slightly different though).

I have the Bilstein 5100's from when I lifted it before. They work fine, but I would like to have something that is fully adjustable.

I will see if I have any side shots from before and post a B&A.

Doesn't really do it justice because of the different angles, but maybe you can see the diff.
The first was taken about 2yrs ago right after my lift.
The second taken about 5 min ago.

Nice! I messed up my outer tie rods when installing my spindles so I know how that goes.

your springs are looking like they have that negative arch (like mine had). replace those cheap factory springs!

I had to trim all kinds of plastic on my wheel wells when I got my tires. GO DREMEL!
