So ive bought a Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 4cyl 2.7 4x4 A little over a year ago and for that year i had it,the only thing I really ever thought was a realistic mod for me was going to be some wheels and tires! But little did I know that one month after I have found TW and become a member the possibilities just started taking flight! I came into TW thinking that mabye i could find some cheap ways to lift my truck up some right?!?! But little did I know one day after i join a couple weeks earlier i stumble across a post in the 2nd gen marketplace that says coilovers! And right about this time i have been doing my research and know now that coilovers are expensive but are a great setup for the suspension so i said why not ill take a look! And guess what this post was from our one and only chris4x4! I started asking him questions about them we talked a little and before you know it the coilovers are at my door! Now for anyone out there that are following this thread let me tell you this that Chris4x4 is one awesome guy and knows his shit! Not only did TW help me learn a lot about these trucks but it help me get in touch with Chris and he helped me more than i could thank him for! So i wanted to mention him in this because without his great deal on the coilovers and his excelent knowledge i wouldn't have this build going where it is now! And let me also say that if you want to lift your 2nd gen Tacoma dont try to do it cheap! You own a $20-30k truck! I will admit it i wanted to do it cheap too and save some extra cash too right? I dont think so if you dont want problems or hassle just spend the extra cash... And im not saying i know everything about these trucks but i know enough to say that these tacomas desevre a quality lift and quality parts! Now i just want to put all this out here to hope someone like me stumbles across this build and doesnt make the same mistake i was going to by skimmping out on my suspension!

Got a dent under the driver side fender flares so i took them all off popped the dent now its got me wanting to line-x them very soon just need the time!

And here are the sexy Icon Coilovers w/ Eibach springs Purchased off of Chris4x4!

    Nice right!

Well I have been off the site for a while and have been doing a few things to the TACO so here are some updates!

Made a little arm rest and 2 extra cup holders because the bench seat really sucks without one and im happy with it! Not the prettiest thing around but it gets the job done!

I order some eyelids and slapped em on! They look freakin awesome!

Made my own bmx grip shifter knob very comfortable and pretty cool!

And last but not least i have installed my icon coilovers,LR control arms and my Toytec AAL! Still waiting on my icon 2.0 rear resi which will be coming very soon!

    Soon to come!
I have my LR UCA's on the way along with Toytec's AAL.
Then Im going to get the Icon resi 2.0's for the rear!
Once i get the suspension all mounted up im thinking of mounting some light driving and back up lights, fogs, bumpers maybe! Need to get a high lift jack and i want a winch but then again who doesnt! Be sure to check back very soon because once i get my Icon resi's this taco is getting lifted! and will take lots of pictures!

Feel free to speak your mind and shoot out your questions, comments, thoughts or advice! My ears are always open for new input! Thanks for taking your time to Look at my build!

That's a sick looking truck you got there, damn fine looking wheels and tire choice! keep it up! it looks a lot more aggressive without the flares too.
