As it sits today....

Don't have any pics when stock - but here's the closest to it. Grillcraft grill and 3" OME lift installed

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...EandGCside.jpg

Rear Locker override switch

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ckerswitch.jpg

Black Rock Yuma wheels and 285/75R16 Goodyear Duratracs installed, along with All Pro Sliders - and skids at the time

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...maBuild002.jpg

Installed the Undercover Hidden Winch Mount System with Warn M8000 and synthetic rope and custom shackles

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...maBuild005.jpg

Ran into this guy on my first trip to Richland Road, and thought he was a bit nuts....

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...2-20-12020.jpg

Then proceeded to do this (strike 1 for the Duratracs)

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...CutTire003.jpg

Then a month after replacing that one (thanks Discount Tire! :)) Strike 2...

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMAG0180.jpg

So I got these - and HATED them!! Loud, and uncomfortable ride.

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMAG0181.jpg

Tried the pizza cutter 255 KM2's. Worked great, but on the 8" rim, they always looked like they were about to pop the bead on off camber situations

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...o/IMAG0197.jpg

Put my first dent in it leaning it against a tree at the top of Kodak Rock at Uwharrie NF.

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p.../FirstDent.jpg

Switched to some 285/75R16 Falken Rocky Mountains. Fantastic tire! Very quiet and smooth, and great in all but the muddiest conditions

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps74ae0ba0.jpg

Cut 3" out of the fenders and flares in preparation for some 315/75R16 MT/R Kevlars

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps10a05b0a.jpg

Cut the body mount and flattened the pinch weld. Still need to finish boxing the body mount

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps9a54fd6d.jpg

Brute Force high clearance

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps3ea2d6d9.jpg

Needed a little help pulling the travel trailer

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps3c2654a1.jpg

Brute Force plate bumper to replace the UHWMS

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps172b6135.jpg

That's all for now.

MadToy 02-23-2013 08:42 AM

DueNorth 02-23-2013 09:05 AM

Subbed. Truck is looking like a beast with those 35's on! Can't wait to see what else transpires :D

Blueanimal 02-23-2013 09:05 AM

Sub'd.

Looking good.

NC10TRDSPORT 02-23-2013 09:08 AM

Fantastic job on those flares!

NYCO 02-23-2013 09:33 AM

daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa mn

f'in love how those look!

you running wheel spacers too? or those wheels have enough backspace?

MadToy 02-23-2013 09:35 AM

Thanks!

I'm waiting for the scratch guards still for the ZX wheels. Should add some nice protection in the rocks. The real nice thing about these wheels though, is that they hide the valve stem behind the lip of the wheel, which should also help in the rocks.

Actual loaded measured height of the MTR is 34.4". That's right at 2.5" taller than the 285 Falkens.

ajohnson 02-23-2013 09:36 AM

 Hell yes, those cut fenders and 315's look beast!

Jandrews has the same cab dent from the same trail, probably from the same tree

No wheel spacers. 16x8.5 wheel with 4.5" backspace. No rubbing so far on the street, but I can see an area by the bottom corner of the pinch weld that I'll have an opportunity for improvement with.... :D

Ha! It's the only tree in the rock area, so no doubt the same one :)

MadToy 02-23-2013 01:33 PM

hard2kill 02-23-2013 03:07 PM

looking great

montes6173 02-23-2013 03:13 PM

Looks good! I like the Hidden Winch, came out real nice.

MadToy 02-23-2013 04:01 PM

I've gotta take a little bit more out of the bottom rear corner of the cab mount. A little too close for comfort. Also rubbing the frame and UCA'S when at full lock. Not that big a deal but I might try some 1/4" spacers I've had sitting around for a year.....

nice ....im running 2in wheel spacers on stock wheels so i should just clear...another member is runing the 315's on stockers with 1.75in spacers and just barely rubs thats why i got 2in...cant wait till 35's come

MadToy 02-23-2013 04:20 PM

I would almost rather limit the turning radius if that was possible. It only hits at the very extreme end of the lock.

I've gotta get it to The Gulches to really find out where else it will rub..

ruggedT 02-23-2013 05:29 PM

Looks good. How did u get the fenders to stay on? I am planning on cutting mine down just havnt figured out how to keep em on there

hard2kill 02-23-2013 05:32 PM
