MALPASO (Spanish for "bad step", or "bad crossing") this is the name I have given this build.

I want this truck to be able to handle and get me to some amazing places, and we all know to get to some of the truly great places we will be going through some tough country. The goal of this truck is to build something that will get me through my adventures (Hunting, Fishing, Camping), and still be a reliable DD. Really a do everything rig. The purpose of this build page is to track all the changes and places that this truck has gone through, as well as get some great advice from all of you on TW.

    Current Rig:

    *More to come

It starts with a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 V6 TRD Off-Road DCSB in Silver Streak Mica, picked it up with 100 miles on it. Sorry no Pic’s of it the first day. Starting a new job there was not much time for the truck so it sat bone stock for a year. Got it out wheeling now and then,

Had the truck for a year, got some bumps and bruises so thought it was a good reason to start my build, that and the B.A.M.F group buy. So the addiction started, once you start it’s really hard to stop. So then came suspension:

Add some new Tires ( 255/85/16 KM2) and this is how she sits for now:

Also debating with either a Undercover hidden winch set up or the new GorillaTec Low Profile Winch Bumper

No still up in the air about it. I’m leaning towards the GorollaTec for the recovery points & strength. But I have also been thinking to just bite the bullet and get a plate bumper for the clearance.

Ya Man great meeting you last night, your truck looked great cant wait to see it with the new tires on that bad boy. I haven't noticed any vibes, thank god. Ya that was Cam's old 4Runner up in the hills, I have been slowly talking him into starting to build his new one. But ya we need to get a group going up to the hills soon, always nice to have a wheeling group I'll definitely be hitting you up.

Man I have been lazy & neglecting this thread. Thought I should get back on it to motivate my self, and put some TLC to the truck and find some more mods for it.

For now ill dump some updates to the truck.

Got my BAMF sliders set-up and ready for some rocks.
