Well if you want to see what they're willing to do? Like I said I'd be pretty content for $2800.

Sounds great, mine will be in on the 7th (taxes). Keep me in the know if you would? If that eBay deal doesn't work out I'll be ready!

Damn the bad luck! Tell them they need to resupply their stock so we can buy them out again! lol. Well if you want, between a few of us on here, maybe we can all ask a few select lower priced supercharger dealers if they'd be willing to sell three or more for the $2800-3000 range?

Noob question but what does putting a supercharger on your tacoma do for the life of the motor ? I have heard it kills the life by a good bit but not from reliable sources. Just curious, i plan to keep my truck for a while and dont want to mess it up.

If it helps ease your mind any... just know that Toyota warranties everything still if you have one installed. With proper care, I see a boosted engine lasting just as long as one that isnt...

The warranty is different if it is installed by them or not. I can't remember what the difference is though. Someone else hopefully will chime in here...

Please be warned. If you do not buy the charger from an authorized dealer the warranty is void. I confirmed this with toyota corporate.
I pm'd that ebay seller to see if it was a dealer or authorized to sell, and got NO reply....
Installing an "unauthorized" supercharger at the dealership will not get you the powertrain warranty according to toyota. Make sure you do your research before buying on ebay.

    Quoted straight from Toyota:

"The warranty is the same as the Toyota Powertrain Warranty of up to 5 years or 60,000 miles or the remainder of the powertrain warranty at the time of the installation when installed by a Toyota dealer. Installations by anyone other than a Toyota dealer carry a 12 month/12,000 mile parts only warranty."

So would this VOID your warranty if you currently have one? No, not unless they can determine beyond a shadow of a doubt that the supercharger itself or the install caused the problem. This goes the same with all other parts such as headers, intakes, electronics, etc.
