Hey man I upgraded to 4 JBL GTO628 6.5" speakers all the way around. I got Mr. Marv to fab me up some mounting brackets. The sound clarity difference is incredible by just changing out the speakers. I have the factory head unit and it has more then enough to run these speakers as they are a 2 ohm design and have a sensitivity of 92db. I would highly recommend them but since I have only heard these I have nothing to compare them too. I also left the factory so-called "tweeters" in as the new speakers are a two way speaker I find it all blends in perfectly. It took about a month for the speakers to "break-in" and really start sounding nice but I love them and definitely recommend the upgrade!!!

I purchased the two-way design GTO628. When I first installed them and tried them out they were lacking bass and I thought "This sucks". But after a couple weeks they "broke-in" nice. After playing them for about 10 mins or so they warm up and start sounding really nice. A much tighter and cleaner sounding bass then stock. But I also added sound deadening all around the speaker opening which I find helped bass response a little bit.
