I choose to double side vehicle trim tape them. It works very well. If you wanted you could use silicone or such. I don't recommend that as it would be much harder to get off if you ever needed to remove them.

You will definitely not lose any light output especially if you have projectors...

If Xmas wasn't rolling around I would be on these like a fat kid on cake. I had a set once upon a time that I couldn't get painted right... The sleeper ones would look AMAZING on my rig I think
