He may have paid $55k for all of that <and got a bit of the shaft...> You'd be better off building up your rig. IMHO

IMO moneywise it is way better to buy a built rig like this for ~30k

few people can turn out the quality that DMZ can (the shop that built that truck)

the asking price is way high, but it's a quality, top notch truck built by arguably the shop with the most time building dezert tacomas

No Tacoma is worth 55g's, the problem with people building up their trucks is that some think(dealers with built rigs especially) that by building them up they are increasing its value where as they are doing the exact opposite. If I wanted to buy it I'd low ball him at 15 and work my way up until an agreeable price is reached or no deal can be made.

I agree! The dealerships add a leaf in the rear...some spacers in the front....larger tires and bump the price $4-$6k!

Yes and no. A truck built to this caliber is def worth more than a stock Tacoma, but there is a limit

Build a LT truck and then you'll feel differently. Haha. Buying a build truck is so much cheaper and when you are familiar with these kinds of trucks and parts it's pretty easy to know the truck inside and out in a short time
