truck interior has fog light switch but the truck outside doesn't have any fog lights?

 

Guess you didn't notice the fender flares missing on the front bumper either. Even money says it was in a front end collision and was repaired at minimal cost. They probably bought a used 5 lug front end and just painted it. I'd avoid it like the plague.

I think the front bumper has been replaced,,, noticed that it doesn't match up with the fender flares

check the front view and then the side view [its tilted down]

The history report is even worse. 42,000 miles in 14 months. Damn thing was driven to hell and back. I know it's not impossible, but damn.

 

It's possible they removed the flares to clearance those big ass tires/wheels as well. I agree the missing fogs are fishy too.

good eye as well! just trying to help a possible new tacoma owner out. it threw a red flag up for me as well.

 

I think that the truck looks beat but may just be how it looks on my monitor. Three things about the front bumper cover....1st the obvious fog light thing...2nd not only are the flares missing but the holes for them are not even there....3rd....look at the red painted lower grill. That is not original. Supposed to be black. Also it doesn't line up properly on all mounting points near the headlights. Could be an OEM or aftermarket cover to repair damage or it may have had an ARB at one time?

 

Definitely something going on there. Show me the Carfax.

 

I'm gonna shoot for the stars and say that it once had an aftermarket front bumper but was replaced when traded in/sold/repossessed/etc.

 

Also, notice the fender liners are cut/trimmed

 

Seller seems to have a decent reputation....

 

A buddy of mine bought a Duramax from them a few years ago. He said they were a pleasure to deal with.

 

It has the fog light switch but no fogs.
