just seems drastic to go through the labor and cost to get rid of a "creaking" noise...there's a "lube" you can use for the uniballs too right?

Yes there is a lube, I was using tri flow dry lube with teflon

Labor? What labor, a couple of hours in my garage to do the swap, don't know if you ever put UCA's on, but it's that easy.

And I am making back my money selling the TC's.
