i have a auburn gears limited slip for sale they are normal around $400 mine is still brand new in the box i have only opened it to take the pictures im asking $300 shipped this is for a 8.4 axle so a not elocker axle price droped i need this gone

As long as you don't have an offroad yes.

 

You had a different model I think, the 8.0, this is a 8.4. Would this work in a 4x4 SR5 (currently w/o LSD)? Your for sale made it seem like it would not.

*edit: So the ring gear is 8.0 and carrier bearings are 8.4....so this would not work?

 

If you have either the base model 6 lug Tacoma prerunner/4x4 or the sport model this will fit because you have tw 8.4 I this helps anyone

It works in all toyota 8.4 axles not the 8s

I'm not sure what axle u have in that if it is a 8.4 then yes it will work

 

how do i tell what axle i have?
its a 2.7 5 speed acc-cab.

OK ready for a holly thread revival? I still have this sitting on my shelf need it gone asap 200$ obo. Great way to get some better traction in the snowy weather we have all been having, or just a upgrade over the OEM LSD in a lot of your trucks.
