I am new to this site. i spent a little bit of time looking around and trying to find the best place to put this post at. i am not even sure if my truck is second gen or not. matter of fact i just got it about a month ago all tore up and not running. well i finally got it running by changing the battery and the ignition lock. but i need to either change the rims and tires ( i am stationed in germany and the tires can not stick out past the fender) or fender flares. i only have 2 months to get it up and running and pass inspection before i leave here. basically.. is it cheaper to buy fender flares ( 4 inch ) or buy whole new tire and wheel sets? and where can i find fender flares? i found pacer fender flares and i will fall back on those if needed be but i would like to do a one time buy. thoughts? thanks!!!

problem is i need at least a 3 to 4 inch coverage on it. in germany none of the tire can stick past the fender and i already have a 2 inch fender flare on it that will not pass inspection. i did find the pacer fender flare but it looks stupid. if worse comes to worse i will buy it for inspection then take it off after.

The last choice is the biggest flare you can get at 3" unless you go fiberglass.
Have you thought about just getting rims with different backspacing??

being in such a remote location it sucks. its like 4-6 weeks for anything to get here. but what i ended up doing was making some in a fab shop. i had the dude come down and look at it and he said it would pass inspection like that, so the next thing i have to do is get the rust off the bottom. thats no problem though. thanks everyone!
