I'm sure there will be someone soon, you may just have to give a special price or guarantee since this is the first one. You have an attractive product that looks to be well-made. Keep bumpin and answering questions, you will sell it, and probably many more after that.
On future versions, is stamping other simple designs a possibility? You would make a killing if you were to offer that kind of customization!

2nd gen tacomas have the OEM TRD skid that you have to compete with. (I went with OEM for my 2nd gen)

However, on my 1st gen, there is no skid plate that looks like this. I think you would have a good market :)

OP i think this skid looks awesome, I'd definitely be interested in one if there was a groupbuy. I'd rather have one in black powdercoat though, but I'm sure that could be worked out later. Subbed for details.

    Nice product!

Mark me down for a black one if you decide to make more. I would take this one but I don't think I would like the grey/ Silver Streak combo.

I think a black one with red TRD would be bad a... I have a cnc vinyl cutter at home so even if you cant paint it 2 tone I could just cut the vinyls and lay it in there.

I just sold this one locally. I will set up a group buy in a few days. I just have to go over a few details regarding box's for shipping. Also I wont be able to do any 2 tone powder coating but you will be able to pick the color of your choice. I Just wanted to thank everyone for all the interest I'm pumped you all like it. Stay tuned for details.

A quick Google Search netted this:
    http://www.mytoyotawarehouse.com/servlet/Detail?no=41

Coincidentally I just found a brand new (well, used - new) OEM Skid locally on Craigslist. I picked it up yesterday. (That is not to say I may still be interested in a Steel Skid.) :D

thats a killer deal! the OEM ones are terrible, I've seen a fair number of them bent and get really smashed from hardly any abuse. And for a custom skid like that $200 is cheap, good luck man!

I am not all that bright -- are you selling more than one? I think that black one looks perfect for me!! I sub'd here and will watch - I have an Avid lightbar and wonder if it will fit with no mod? I will be picking this up if I can get it in black and know it will fit with no mod -- thanks for offering what looks like a great product!!!! And don't make it cheaper -- pretty is important to some!!

Iv been getting a lot of questions about bull bars and bumper mods. If you can find out if the oem after market skid plate fits, then you shouldn't have any problems with this one.

about how much does it weigh? I would take one with a "toyota" on it instead of TRD.. or the toyota logo... OR blank and just put a decal on it later
