Thanks, It looks like from previous replies, the avid light bar / bp skid is a popular combo. I love it. Nice job guys.
fyi - I removed my stock skid before installing the new.

well matt I finally got it on today after having it for almost a year. had my boss put it on for me he had to make me some taller spacers. not sure if it was because he took the stock skid off. anyway I will post some pics soon. just not sure if I want to paint in the trd or not.

Sorry I'm confused, are you no longer making skid plates when you sell out, or are you no longer stamping trd onto it? How come on your website the price doesn't go down ($220) if I opt for non-stamped and bare metal, isn't that less work? Great looking product looking to get one if you still make more.

Also, question about the recovery hooks. Lite vs heavy duty. Both say 6,500lb tow rating. What benefits would come from getting heavy duty? Just curious if the $80 difference is just for 1/2 steel over 3/16.

    Thanks!

Once my logo is complete I will only be offering that. As of now nothing has changed yet. I made the change to my website to reflect the cheaper price of the bare metal skid plate, thanks for pointing that out.

The HD has a third mounting hole, allows for a larger shackle and is thicker.

Matt, I am also interested in the recovery hook. Is the Heavy Duty rated for 6500 lbs? If so, what # is the light duty rated for?

They are both rated for 6500 lbs. Only the HD has the third mounting location and allows for a larger shackle.

Where are the installation instructions to the raptor style grill? Your website only says they can be found online. Link?

I painted mine with an Oil based Paint Marker by Sharpie - Medium Point. About 3 or 4 coats.

Subd. These are super bad ass. I'm trying to justify paying almost $400 (shipping) on one vs OEM. Keep posting sweet pics and I guarantee I'll do it.

I left on my existing factory skid (or whatever they call it). I think it would have been much easier without it as it took me quite awhile to get everything lined up. Read your directions because I can't remember for sure but I think you can do it either way, if so I would remove existing. Just my 2 cents, some did in 15 minutes others like me a lot longer but I am mechanically challenged.

I took off the oem skid and had a friend under the truck on a creeper holding it. slid the back on the bolts and held it up while I did the front. only problem I had was the spacers were not long enough and had to add a thick spacer on top of the ones supplied but I think that was because I took the factory one off.
