feeler possible sale: 2010 regular cab tacoma 4x4 5spd

Sweet. I had a spun aluminum one on my Protege 5 years ago and loved it! Looked sweet, felt great, and actually shortened the throw a wee bit.

I use it as a paperweight in my office I like it so much.

 

yeah i don't think this one shortens the shifts at all but, it certainly smoothed them out.

mazda makes a great manual gear box. before this truck i had a 2010 mazda 3 w, a 6spd i bought the twm big type r from twm.

that thing was awesome my mazda already shifted great but, that w that thing i was snicking of shifts like aryton senna lol.

 

its getting a lot of local attention sitting out front. apparently these people have been waiting for me to put it up for sale i have heard that like 5 times now lol.

i hate selling this truck but, if i do i also hoped it would go to a tw guy. chances are they will use it for what it was made to do and i can see the truckster in action but, then wouldn't have to clean it

also if anyones interested in the parts please post up as i'm willing to part it out if i can get the parts sold quickly nothing on the truck has over 6k miles on it.

 

Hey, I have been a lurker on this site since buying my 2011 reg cab which is identical to yours (when it was stock of course). I had to finally join now that I see your truck is up for sale. It's kind of sad to see something so badass being sold but I see your reason is a bit more important...sort of! It has been one of 3 trucks that I have been using to help me decide what to do to mine. I am interested in the bumper, snorkel, skid plate, suspension, maybe other things. Of course price is the question. I am in CT so I can drive to pick up parts. Let me know what you plan on parting out please. GLWS. Chris

i'll keep you informed if i decide to part her out it would be great to sell off a large portion of the parts asap i want to go buy this certain truck before its sold out from underneath me.

 

do you still have your stock tires? if so i'm going to need them lol if you go with the lift i suggest the winch & the bumper as a combo you will need the weight up front.

 

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I am already feeling broke and I havent bought anything yet! Def keep me in mind if you part it out. Yes, I do have they stock wheels and tires still. I'm not sure that I would get rid of the stock wheels right away as tires have under 12,000 miles on them so I am not in a rush yet. I have to sell off some extra crap too...too many projects that I dont have time for, but it is an addiction.

 

unfortunately i don't have my stockers anymore i had practically gave them away when i bought the truck. i have no problem swapping out the lift and stuff for you but, my truck would be sitting at factory ride height on 295's lol :/

that would need to be factored into the equation.

ahh yeah the wheels kind of limit you somewhat. im just not looking to have the body mount and all of that cut like i read you had done. i dont know what i want for suspension yet. prob will end up with icon eventually if i can sell off some of my other crap. well i would def be interested in the bumper/winch combo and skid plate also. does the skid plate require removal of the sway bar? i thought i had read that somewhere. thanks

 

yeah the skid thats on my truck is no longer being produced i actually bought the last one allpro had. its their high clearance skid and while it may not be as tough as the ato its tucked up there pretty good compared to ato's front skid.

iirc its 7mm plate steel and requires you to remove the sway bar due to the "high clearance" nature of it lol.

 

i was trying to figure out a way to get you the lift and bumper/winch together cause your going to need it with this suspension the spring rates are a bit high lol.

so if your interested in the lift i would need your factory wheels and tires. that doesn't mean you have to buy mine or anything it will be part trade part sale if that makes sense.

 

yeah high clearance...that makes sense with the skid plate. do you have an idea what you are looking to get for parts? the problem would be if i give you my stock wheels and tires i have nothing to replace them with. i'm not ready to jump into buying new wheels and tires quite yet. i know it is sort of backwards to not get decent wheels/tires before some other mods but i figured it wouldn't hurt to get some things now. do you still have the seat cover too?

yeah everything is still on the truck. just to be clear though i can't do the lift because of the tires i have. list out what exact parts you want and i can pm you the rest .

 

What about the headlights with projectors? sell those?
