Just wandering - Is this to be used with a shell or cover of some sort? or can it get wet?

Man that looks good installed! If I had a shell I would grab it. I had one in my first gen and really liked it.

I used it with a shell but it is very durable and can be used without one. It is a plastic fiber so it will not absorb smells (like spilled gasoline) etc. "A polyester carpet and molded closed-cell polyethylene foam" It can totally get wet with no issues.

Does that glue down? Has the price changed any?

It does not glue down, rather is attached to the bed with hook and loop fasteners (heavy duty Velcro like material). The storage boxes right and left are removed and re-installed over the top of the bed rug also anchoring it into place. Dropped price from $250 to $200. Will need a new $30 install kit of the fasteners from bedrug. Shipping is not exactly cheap due to the size of the box needed not the weight. Only weighs about 14 lbs.

See above link for install instructions.

I have had more interest from the 6' bed crowd than the 5' bed.... I wish it was a 6' also!
