So I'm going to sell my truck because I really have no need for it. Its a great truck and I really don't want to sell it. Below is a link to my ad. Do you guys think its too much? I'm looking for advice on what I should say, do to this sale. thanks for your advice.

It is better to start high because you can always go down. It's really tough to go up in price on a depreciating asset. That price is a comparable price to Tacomas for sale in my area.

thanks. I was hoping the price was good. I felt 26k was too much (unless it's a dealer) Dealer wanted to give me 21k. Honda wanted to give me 22k. Whats worse is Toyota didn't even really look at the aftermarket stuff. Bet they were trying to just buy the truck and research all the goodies later. Sorry but no.

Aftermarket upgrades don't necessarily increase the value of your car (when it comes to resale anyway) Factory upgrades do however. Have you considered going back to stock? Parting out your aftermarket stuff would give you a chunk of change and you could still get 21k-23k for the truck.
Either way its a very nice truck and someone will be a lucky buyer! GLWS

Thank you and yes. I figured I'd give it a few weeks and see what happens. Otherwise I'll put it mostly back to stock. I'd leave the UCA's ( they were almost impossible to get in) and obviously the LED upgrades.
