    I like simple/suttle/sleek things. Glowing from behind also accents the shroud better then shining in front of it. You won't even see the design or holes on the shroud if it's in front rather than behind. Depends on the shroud too though. I have Apollos which don't have any slots or holes to shine through so in front would be the better option probably, but most of the time I like the ones behind because they add to the shroud rather than take away.

    That said, I don't like halos. I think someday whoever gets them will realize they're not driving a 16 year old rice burner and will want to take them out. But that's just my opinion, not a fact. Personal preference.

    I totally agree that the halo looks a lot better behind the shroud....especially with Apollo 2.0. The concern I have with Halo is when they fail, you gotta crank up the oven and start baking....and I'm no Betty Crocker....

    You have take it apart wether it fails in front or behind don't you? I don't know, I've never looked into halos.

    Yes you would have to take the headlight apart if you had a halo in the front and or the back of the shroud

    Yes you do, I was meaning to say its a big decision on opting for Halos on the Retro build in the first place, I don't know the failure rate for these newer LED's...maybe Burt has some insight..? I NEVER want to take my lights out and bake 'em open for ANY reason....Decision time..Halo..or not.!

    If they break and you don't fix them it will be the same as if you never installed them, as long as they're behind the shroud. Yes?

    It's all personal preference when it comes to running halos or not. I love them behind the shroud on the Apollo, Apollo 2.0, and G37R
