There was a thread about this and might help to post a link there?

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct part number to convert my 2011 base model to variable speed wipers??? I know one makes the selector work in reverse and one doesn't. New to the forum and tacomas as a whole.

I am not sure about the '13's but this part will work on 05-12. The only difference on the later models is that the knob that controls the intermittent speed is turned the opposite direction to go faster or slower. also the "pull" printed on the end of the stalk is different.
