    Since I assisted a local member with installing his lithe kit I took a bunch of new pictures and will be updating the install instructions.



    All remaining orders were completed and shipped out yesterday, emails/PM's with tracking numbers will be going out today!

    It was a pleasure doing biz with Matt. I put my order in for the warm white bed kit ( Matt customized it for me as per our discussion) The kit arrived in 2 days and Installation was easy!!
    *Disclaimer- I am not an electrician - this is how I did the install on my truck. Altering vehicle wiring could void warranty, start a fire ,etc. This post is just to show what I did!
    I used a different method to wire lights utilizing the existing trailer bat charge wire which is part of the factory 7 pin tow pkg. This is a 30a circuit which is hot only when ignition switch is on.

    Its the relay between EFI main and Horn[​IMG]

    I wanted the bed lights to be available all the time so I simply jumped out the relay( in the engine compartment fuse box). I put a 3a inline fuse as part of the jumper. At the rear of the truck I tapped into the trailer harness, ran a short wire thru a wire loom up behind taillight to the bed lights12+.

    I put in a n/c door jamb switch to the 12v- of the bed lights so that bed light comes on when tailgate Is open.

    I'm lazy or you could say this is a Green method saving wire,wire ties,wire loom.I avoided running a separate wire and wire loom all the way from the back of the truck to the engine compartment,the fuse is well protected in the fuse box, no holes thru any firewall grommets . If I wanted lights on only with ignition I could just plug relay back in and relocate inline fuse to tap at trailer harness. Hope this may help someone!
