2012 grill

WTB a 2012 grille in the MGM color. All i really need is the outer color ring. Mine is chrome and id like it to be color matched to the truck color.

 

its going to be hard to find one. either pay a shop to paint or paint it yourself. or buy a new one from the dealer for around 180-200

 

Joker i wanted to do the same thing and found that painting it my self was the cheapest way. I found the color match paint it @ http://www.automotivetouchup.com/

I was in only 38 dollars and a few hours of work. I was able to put 3 coats of paint on the grille and 3 coats on the bumper before it ran out.
All you have to do is remove the grille scuff with 600 grit prime, paint and clear.
It came out great I will upload some pics soon.

Nice! How did you apply it? I dont have access to a pnuematic gun.

 

Its just aerosol color match paint can. Just shake and spray.

 

Check out some MGM base model Trucks on the lot. The gray base grills almost perfectly match the MGM paint. A base grill should be pretty cheap and easy to find, and it will look better and last longer than painting yourself. Thats how I think I'll change mine.

 

i found this website that sells OEM parts for pretty cheap. wouldnt mind having a back up grille. if i felt like chrome one day all i have to do is switch it out. and for less than 200 bucks. wth...why not?
