I think there is a writeup on here somewhere... there are little plastic/rubber tabs behind it..dont remember exactly how many..you can work your way around with a razor blade carefully..if you take your time its not bad...get anxious and you may cut into your wheel a little.

then lightly sand..spray..and glue back into place..

I always throught 265 were going be to small for 3inch lift

 

this is my second set of 265s on this truck with the lift and ive never felt the need to upsize..sure the 285s look good..but these work too. also a little lighter..and zero trimming.

 

I got 265 70 16 so I should be fine with 3inch lift with tires I got.?

 

those will look a little smaller. and the more aggressive the tread also helps it look better.


i did run the stock 265 70 16 rugged fails on my 3 inch lift for a little..was happy when i upgraded

 

So go 3inch I should be good

 

You'd probably want to go up to a 265/75/16. And some tires in that size may still look small. Duratracs just happen to run a little beefier if you will. I have them in that size with 3" and it looks good.

Did you sell it are just going to trade it in? We have been looking for a 08 to 010 tundra and all the used lots want the taco bad... They are big $ on trade in..

 

they dont wanna give me shit for trade in...unless things have changed in the recent past.

The offers have actually been insulting.

So since I cant get a decent trade in ill have to keep it until I get outta school and get a solid job so I can afford payments on a new truck.

 

Old fart to young fart ,,The mods cost you big $ at trade in time..A Dealer will look at that stuff and send it to the auto auction (wholesale $ for him) . Mine will get 20K on trade in at almost any lot & Im only looking at 20 to 25K used tundras..

 

What lift was this anyways? Spacer? Looks good, probably gonna run the 265 duratracs this summer by the looks of this truck
