was that steering wheel a direct plug and play affair?

 

My truck had cruise control, but didn't have radio controls or Bluetooth. I had to change my clock spring to part number 84306-0E010. This allowed use of the radio controls and cruise control.

If your truck already had steering wheel controls this is plug and play.

If your truck has no steering controls, but does have cruise control and you install the steering wheel without changing the clock spring then the cruise will be the only button that functions.

The air bag is plug and play with any 05+ tacoma.

 

Dang, I like the steerign wheel. My truck doesn't have blue tooth but does how steering wheel controls and CC. if I buy a radio with blue tooth, I'll be set to get this?

 

I don't have an honest answer to that question. I know it works with the stock Bluetooth. I never had Bluetooth in my truck so only the radio controls were functional.

Also, this wheel is leather wrapped instead of the vinyl that is on the original steering wheel.

 

Any other takers on the FJ switch?
