This is going to be parked on a city street. How comfortable are you / would you be leaving valuables in the bed overnight?

It's more than just vinyl and is actually metal underneathe, right? I guess what I'm really asking is, can you jab a knife through the cover and get inside easily?

What's with the part where it rolls up that you can access via the two knobs? Does that expose any of the structure or any weaknesses?

I don't mean to make it sound like I expect this thing on blocks any day now, but I want to be safe and make sure I'm not losing my gear or inviting a break-in.

Let me know...I'm extremely interested (and will subsequently have an Undercover SE hard top for sale shortly).

 

Take a look at this video. This is the main reason I bought it. Anybody could open where you said the 2 pins are at but you still can't get to anything that would allow you into the bed of your truck. Over all, I have left all kinds of gear in the back locked up and never worried anybody would get into it.

great price OP, I got mine from Amazon couple months ago for more that double what you are asking for. This is an awesome product and I also have the Cargo Manager which works perfect with the Roll N Lock.
