WTT: 2012 Gauge Face for one without white trim

As the title states I would like to trade my gauge face for a set that does not have the white bands. Yes I know I can purchase a new set from a website but figured I would give this a try first.

I want the all black gauge faces, please let me know if you would like to trade.

does this gauge swap out cleanly or even fit on an '07? if so, if we can overnight to each other, this could work.

 

I am not sure of that, sorry for the delayed response it has been a busy week here. Hopefully someone could chime in and add their expertise.

 

how much of a b**** are these to remove and swap out? If its not too hard I may be interested.

will it fit over the old dashes? yes but toyota moved lights around from the original 05-08 then 09, 10 then again in 2011 and finally again in 2012...
for example, my headlight indicator is on the left bottom corner of the rpm gauge, the 09s are light 2 lights to the right 1 up and the on the 2012s + in the center gauge under the speedmeter
so if you trade them you will have miss placed lights blinking or some covered.

your best bet is just change the color to a different color, blue red green pink purple or orange background

EDIT:
also changing the cluster with someone elses is possible but toyota also change 1-3 wires around so the rpm, fuel gauges wont work if you add a 05-2011 cluster in a 2012+

 

Thank you Jerez, and the plan is to change the color of the lights, but I really hate the stripe around the gauges. I really like the all black face and then light up the difference with either blue or real white.

Looks like I will have to find a 2012 that has the different gauges or purchase the conversion. Thanks again Jerez!

And the white in the gauges now is the same white they sale and I install in gauges right now...
