OEM 2014 Tacoma Navigation Radio

Can someone confirm that these are new, not seconds, and include the latest map software?

 

I don't know, he seemed to really be trying to figure out how to help me. He was the parts guy, not a salesman. His conclusion was that it just wasn't worth it, so I think he really thought he was right.

I guess I need to go back and read this entire thread in detail, but it's just really weird that many dealers don't think this can be done at all, when in fact it's apparently a snap-in job for not much money.

No u prob havent... I PMed him on 9/5 and just got my invoice today to pay ... So its not that much of await...and I wonder if they are new or just taken off some trucks?

 

Got mine last month, had a June 2014 manufacture sticker on back

 

Just paid. He assures they are new and up-to-date maps.

 

Just finished the install on my hu and it works great . Thanks to all of those that through their efforts made this install for me and everyone else who has or will be doing this up grade in the future easy. Kudos to you.

 

P.S. my nav map is 2014 edition

 

How long did it take the radio to arrive after payment?

 

Paid wednesday, received saturday (today)!

Why did't all tacoma's come with this? At least the TRD's??? This thing is so much more than just a Navigation upgrade.

If you've looked at this thread and thought maybe... "Just do it" you'll be glad you did.
If you've looked and thought $450 is kinda steep... Quit contemplating now! This is SOOOO worth $450, if not for the factory Nav. but also the apps and extra features. If money really is an issue, keep in mind that you can sell the old unit to offset the cost. May not get all your money back, but if you get a few hundred this becomes a very low cost upgrade.

market may be a bit flooded with the non-nav entune units though.

 

Paid Wednesday and received unit on Saturday. Installed in about 30 minutes and it works like a champ. I agree with Ripper, this should come standard with all Tacoma's.

Arrgh, I missed the mailman yesterday or I would have had this thing in my hands two days after paying the invoice. Guess I'll be fidgeting around all day and heading to the post office tomorrow morning. It's great to read all the success stories here; I still can't believe how simple and inexpensive this is to do.

 

Did you guys get a shipment confirmation or did your HU just show up? I paid my invoice Wednesday also, but mine did not arrive Saturday and I'm not sure it's even shipped yet.

 

I paid Wednesday or Thursday don't remember .. Got my invoice and got curious and went on paypal and under your statement or details go to the transaction and he will put the tracking number ... But he doesn't tell u.. Sigh.. Waiting for Monday now

 

My tracking link was on my Paypal invoice. What I didn't realize was that the delivery requires a signature, and I was away from home when they tried to deliver it. So now I have to wait and see if they try again tomorrow, or go down to the post office first thing in the morning. Guess which I'm going to choose...

 

I know some of you have not gotten a package yet that have paid on Sep. 17. Normally I send out next day of payment but something came up during last week. I also sense I separated from the military a few years ago I am still doing reserves and it takes up most my weekends. You can confirm shipping thru PayPal as I create the labels using the print shipping label option. On a second note I did have to order a next batch of units and it may seem that it will be the last till some time next year as I will be doing some training to get tasked with orders. Which will be a bit tough as I own and operate my own mobile electronics store.

Sorry for some of the delays lately but I assure you that if you paid you are getting your items you paid for. Thanks for the patience and glad everyone is happy with the products.
