Well folks, I’m considering selling my beloved Tacoma. I already know I will probably experience some buyers remorse. My wife and I area currently building a house, she has a new car, and we have a little one at home so although I can afford my truck, I’m looking at trimming the fat and getting rid of some of my toys.

Let me preface my ad by saying I am not desperate to sell so please be reasonable.

    Specs:

-2011 Tacoma, Double cab, short bed
-Stock, with the exception of a K&N air filter
-Sport Model with JBL 6 disc in dash system with the sub behind the seat, etc
    -PreRunner, SR5, V6, etc
    -Only 35,XXX babied miles
    -Toyota tow package
-Plug in in the truck bed
    -Trifold tonneau cover
-$25,000. I paid over $30K for it with every bell and whistle you could get minus 4WD. I live in the south and this is my commuter vehicle, not my offroad toy.
-Thule roof rack with kayak set up. It will be sold with the truck if you pay the asking price.

I bought this truck brand new in 2011. I’ve taken care of it and ALL maintenance has been done at Toyota. I have all receipts for everything done, including the factory maintenance book that has been stamped every time. I’m writing this ad in a Toyota dealership as the oil is changed and 35K mile maintenance is done.

The only “bad” about the truck is some jackass punched (I think?) the front drivers side fender in a parking lot. I pushed it out some but its still noticeable. I’ve considered having it fixed but it hasn’t affected the truck, so I haven’t bothered. Here is a picture.

Lots of tread left on the tires, wheels have no dings or curb rash.

Interior is very clean, as its usually just me in the truck, so the passenger and back seat hardly ever are sat in.

Here is a screen shot of KBB’s evaluation of the truck. I realize these prices can be somewhat inflated, so I’m not asking what they think its worth. If you have any questions, need additional information, send me an email/PM or call/text at 980-395-4879.

I am currently located in Little Rock, AR. I am willing to drive the truck to you if you would like. Pay for the gas and my one way ticket back. I reguarly drive from Little Rock to Kansas City, and need to make a trip to Durham, NC soon. But willing to go elsewhere. I’m willing to work with you if you would like to have it shipped. I will not work with you if you want it shipped overseas, paying with a Nigerian prince’s money order, or want to trade it for your Ford Escort with 250,000 miles on it. So please, don’t waste either of our time. I’m not set on selling it just yet but if someone is looking for a very reliable truck and we can come to an agreement, lets see what we can do. It is currently financed with USAA, so if you are military/bank with them, I’ve heard selling a car and keeping it within the bank is a very easy process.

The only trade I would possibly consider was an older Tacoma, probably gen 1, double cab with relatively (based on year) low miles. Maybe someone out there wants a new truck and has a loved Gen 1?

I’ve also mentioned I’m liquidating some of my toys. I also have a 2012 Honda CBR250R with about 700 miles on it. This, I’m more on the fence about than the Tacoma as its my gas saver. I get about 75 mpg. Low miles (my commute to work is only a few miles). As mentioned, I’m asking 25K for my truck. Give me $28,500 (clean retail for my truck, and I will throw in the bike. I’ll throw in my motorcycle ramp with it too. Pay that price, and it’s a free motorcycle. What you do with it, ride it, sell it, that’s up to you.

Lastly, I’ve got a 1982 16’ Scamp travel trailer. This thing is awesome! It is made of fiberglass and weighs about 1800 lbs. The perfect travel trailer for a Tacoma. You do not even feel it behind your truck, and can even be towed by a 4 cylinder car. I’ve done a ton of work to it since I got it, and truth be told, I’ve been living in it since May while my house is being built, if that tells you anything about its livability. New vents up top, roll around AC unit ($250), 22” flat screen mounted ($250), and all kinds of other stuff. Some of the photos below are before I painted the cabinets to match the shelves. Sorry about the mess:) I can give you some more information on it if you would like. I’m asking $5500 for it by itself. If you buy my truck, and want this, take both home for $29K.

If you want the truck, the bike, and the trailer, $32K. You could finance just the truck for that and have a bike and travel trailer free and clear. Obviously I’m discounting it all if you buy the lot.

Buy all three and I’ll throw in my $1,000 kayak with everything you need to go on the water today. Talk about an awesome set up! Fits nicely in the Thule roof rack on the truck and you still have the truck bed for all the goodies.

These prices are pretty solid. Again, I’m willing to drive it to you if you want, just pay for my gas and ticket home. If you want the travel trailer and not the truck or bike, I’d be willing to bring it to you too. Want all three? I’ll put the bike in the bed, hook up the trailer, and be there next weekend. Thanks for your time!
