    alright here's what i got.
This is from my 2013 tacoma. did this retrofit about a month ago.
I really like the FX-R but I was scared to do all that cutting so I went with the morimoto mini h1. But now that i have my first retrofit under my belt, im ready to do another one and i want to do the more complicated FX-R.

Cosmetic-wise: would grade this retro 7.0 to 7.5 out of 10 to be honest. Theres slight (very minimal) dust inside the driver side headlights and my OCD wants it to be perfect. Passenger side might have a dot or two. The adapter plates are held by JB weld so that alignment doesnt move with the daily driving vibrations. I used the black TRS butyl to re seal the headlights. I TOOK MY TIME TO DO THIS RETROFIT. NOT SOME RUSHED JOB. I SPENT ABOUT 18 HRS.

Functionality : 8.5 out of 10. The two headlights had a minimal fog when it rained last week combined with the 25 degree cold, but im fixing that this weekend with some GE silicone II. This fogging does go away after the car is parked for about an hour. The light output (see cut off picture below) is very good (Passenger side could have been adjusted a tad counterclockwise) and no issue with the high beam solenoid. The height is already set as ive been driving the truck for two weeks now, as long you have stock height. No high beam flashes from on coming vehicle.

so its a good start for someone who doesn't want to do their own retro. I want swap for your OEM stock headlights (must be in good condition) and additional $170 from you. From me, you will get the OEM headlights with the Mini H1 projectors with the orbit shroud and the 5000k H1 bulbs. I'm keeping my current ballasts since i paid extra to get the OEM denso + water proofing and keeping my relay since its already tucked in nicely on my truck.

you'll have to get the relay from TRS ($35) and balllasts for ($110) then everything else will be plug and play.

Whats the catch: for someone who doesnt want to bake their own headlights and cant wait minimum two weeks and spend $500 parts and labor from a retrofit company, i think this is a steal.

if you are local (austin, TX) even better we can all do this in an hour :)

Your current ballasts won't work on the FXR just so you know. I would sell it as a whole package including everything you got.

Then buy a new group buy kit (deal with halogen for another few weeks) which will come with ballasts and a harness anyway.

Just trying to get you a sale.

The price is right and you could even charge more if you include everything!

I know they have it, I am just saying you may be more likely to sell with everything, then you can buy your new ones with everything too.

Buying stuff individual from them is just too pricey :(

Are you implying that if you buy more than one item, let's say 4 or 5, they give you a discount?

I'm about to get a few things from TRS. If I can save a penny here and there, by all means I'm gonna save a penny.

oh! I didn't realize you had denso and not Mori's.

Yeah keep them! I just got one of the new ones, it fired once and will not light up at all now. Waiting for another...

And Rubio, I was implying if you buy a retrofit "kit" from them its a lot cheaper than buying everything individual

apparently the new ones aren't any better. Plugged the new in and it worked once. Plug it in now, nothing. Plug in my old one and it fires right away. Getting old quick. At least they fix their issues

I don't understand why Trs didn't test the replacements before sending them out.. Crazy.. Now they'll have to eat all those shipping fees again and yet send more replacements
