    SOLD!
The time has come to get rid of my baby. I'm getting married in 6 months and need a more family friendly vehicle. I am considering trades preferably for a truck, preferably diesel and it needs to be a 4 door.
This is a 2005, 4cyl, manual, access cab, toyota tacoma. It has 123,xxx miles on it.
Now for the fun part. It has been converted into a prerunner. The front is mid travel with 9in of travel, the rear is long traveled with 18.5in of travel. It has a bed cage, and the frame is boxed. It has a new 4.10 rear diff that has a lockright locker.

The cab has been recently caged, has race seats that are mounted for a taller person somewhere around 5 foot 10+, but can pretty easily be remounted. It has 5 point harnesses, and sound proofing around the entire cab. The airbags and abs were taken out due to how unsafe they are off-road.The roof was cut off to get the cage welded completely so it can be raced.
It has a custom bumper and skid plate on the front, comes with 3 hid kragens, and a 52in led light bar.

This is an off-road truck, it was built to go fast and jump in the desert and it serves that purpose. Off-road trucks make off-road noises, it's loud and it clicks and creaks from the large suspension parts and the locker. It can go pretty much anywhere you need to go, and is definitely fun as hell.

Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

Still 5 luggin' it with a Reg Cab.

    Just sayin.

Keep the taco, get the wife the family friendly car. I drive my truck and the wife drives an accord. Use the accord for the all the family running.

And did you DD the lockright? How'd that go?

She has a 4 runner, but my truck is a little much at this point for a DD especially on the tight budget we have. The locker isn't too bad, it clicks a lot when turnig and parking and will occasionally pop, but it's doable.

Sorry to derail your sale thread....gets bumps though??

I'm very much considering a locker as the next addition to the truck. Know I can go the lunchbox route or a full blown air system.

Like you, I work within a very tight budget.

Would prefer to go the auto locker route as it is more cost friendly but do have concerns with how much I do use my truck as a DD. I drive quite a bit, in a major city. I go on little offroad trips a couple times a year.

Someone needs to make a dang cable locker. I would buy an OX locker in a heartbeat if they made something for Toyotas

I like the lockright locker. It has pulled me out if some pretty terrible situations. It does click a lot when you are in parking lots and stuff, and occasionally it will catch and make a loud pop but that's pretty rare.

If I had 8K I'd buy this in a heartbeat. Why so cheap for a ready to use toy? Seems like that truck would be worth more?

    Good luck with sale!

The biggest part is that it's a hard market to sell in and I need it gone soon. Also the paint needs to be redone cause I cut the roof off and most people want their truck to look shiny...sadly

Almost sold it tonight but the kid kept trying to low ball me so I told him to pound sand.

Figures right when I started showing it the check engine light came on and it gave me the p0301 code...misfire first cylinder. Going to drop the price again so shoot me some offers to take her away
