The square hole on Motomariners truck that the factory post sits in seems to be be a little more outboard than any of the other trucks so far so there isn't enough room between the mounting hole and the inside of the fender. I have modified a new assembly removing some of the excess bracket material around the plunger rod and we will see how that works out.

Mod completed with new part from OP!
Slight filing/squaring of plunger threads required on my 2011 DCLB to allow fit.
OP's trimmed actuator frame fits perfectly.
Wired up to door locks. Works great. Barely louder than my oem door locks+pop'n'lock.
    No more Stant for me!

Nice. That switch looks OEM. Does it come with it?

The switch in the picture fits VW's (early 2k Jetta, Passat, Gulf), found a generic one on Ebay for $12

Switch is not included. I figured everybody would have their own preference on what they like so I would leave that part up to them. As Matt stated, its from a VW. I got mine for around $14 on ebay.

Thanks for the info on the switch Matt.

    Thanks

So ones you do this mod, there's no going back to stock?

OP PM'd you. Interested in getting one.

Awesome. Thanks OP, can't wait to get em.

Decided to go with a Highlander Hybrid fuel door release switch since I have a few blanks on the left side of my steering wheel. And I want to keep it OEM.

    Got it from ebay

Nice! I wanted to do something similar bit had no place to put it. I think the Prius has a gas door release that might be close in size also. I'm sure there will be some people interested to see how yours turns out.

Got any basic description of that spring?

Just want to make sure I get the right ones when I go get some from the local ACE Hardware store.
