Never seen N-Fabs sliders before. 2 questions:
    1) for short or long bed ?
    2) Do they mount to the frame like true sliders ? or to the body like the N-fab steps ?

They mount using the factory holes underneath the body, not the frame so they're just steps.

N-Fab advertising these as 'rock rails' is quite misleading. They make it sound like sliders. Per website:

"Rock Rails by N-FAB®, 1 Pair. Protect your bodywork from stumps and rocks with set of N-FAB rock rails. Welded together from double tubes of 1.75" 0.095" steel tubing, these rails will let your undercarriage slide harmlessly along the rock, instead of digging in and damaging the sheet metal. "

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread but didn't want mislead buyers(like myself) into buying these thinking they're sliders. I would hate to mount these and try a hi lift jack with dire results. GLWS.
