This may not be a question you are able to answer, but what would you suggest the weight rating for it would be? BTW, this is exactly what I want. I need to figure out of I am going to do the DIY kit or one already assembled. Thanks!

The steel version that I have is strong. I can stand on one (I am about 160lbs) cross bar and there is next to no defection. Spread that across 6 cross bars and you have a pretty high capacity. The rack is mounted to all ten mounting points on the roof so the weight is distributed well there also. I would think that the actual roof of the truck where the rack mounts would fail before the rack itself would.

I can't give an exact number but I would consider the capacity equal to the other commercial brands such as front runner and bajarack. I personally can't think of anything I would want to carry up there that the rack wouldn't be able to handle.

Question, how much room is there at the end of the front of the side rails and your front most cross bar? Wondering if I won't need to extend the front rails, just weld all the crossbars a hair closer together to give myself more space up front for a LED Bar...

Sweet, I'm thinking A roof top tent for my daughter and I. She's 8 years old and I'm 150 pounds wet. It should hold.

Sounds like this is a common theme. If the access cabs had mounting points like the double cab it would be easily done.

I wouldn't hesitate to put a RTT up there. Although I don't know how the wind noise would be on a tent. I have seen guys with it set up that way on here though.

C'mon, we don't drive Tacomas because we care about noises. Between my aerobar set up and the BFG's, I can barely hear the radio at 40!

I have a LEER 180 Topper that has a 3" to 4" hight difference. Have you considered higher side members?

I am going to start a list in the OP of those who are interested. Once I get payment, I will change the color of your name and start getting them put together to get shipped out. Turn around time is pretty quick but I would like to do these as batches mainly for ease and to possibly cut down costs and give you guys some savings if possible.

Wow it's bigger than I thought! I'm definitely in for what we spoke about. Just rails with shorter mounts and all mount hardware.
