not sure what size the mounting bolts and nuts are..... but an option for black bolts and nuts would be ARP[IMG]

    not cheap, but an option.

I'd like black hardware as well. What size would we need? (My rack is going on an access cab if that makes a difference.)

Make sure you shop for black zinc finish. That's from the op, black oxide is easier to fine but rusts more quickly. I'm in the process of doing that very thing

I can confirm that included hardware started to show signs of rust after a short amount of time. I ended up cleaning them up and spraying with some Rustoleum Hammered Metal paint. Worked just fine and has been holding up well since.

    Yes
Wholesale on those ARP's is $3 per bolt... Your best bet for long term rust proof bolts is black anno aluminum or stainless. Anno is cheap if you have anyone that does it locally.

I've been thinking about just rattle canning em with some rustoleum flat black. Just concerned about the paint chipping off..

I had mine painted and if done right it lasts pretty well. I still am on the lookout for some black zinc that is reasonably priced with correct materials.

I plan on spraying all my fasteners will bedliner paint. I did that on some bolts for my motorcycle and they have held up great over the last couple months.

I think it is rustolium. Comes in a spary can so u don't have to use it all which is nice on little jobs like this.

Here's a tip for those spraying your hardware, may have actually picked it up earlier in this thread... Use a piece of cardboard and punch the bolts through, so they are held in place by the cardboard. Makes spraying and drying it all easy.

Does anyone have the prescribed fastener sizes?

Thanks in advance to the Search-tool Nazis, but I searched a few different ways and didn't find a clear answer. If you do find it here and share the Post# I'll worship you for 10-15 minutes. :)
