No problem at all. You definitely have a nice solution that is hands down stronger than the standard tnuts from 80/20 and TSLOTS. That being said if I were just starting to setup my rack I certainly wouldnt hesitate to use the standard stuff. I guess I can't speak for the drop in tnuts but the economy slide in ones have held anything I have used them for (bike fork mount, pelican case full of gear, Rotopax full of fuel) just fine on a variety of trails and roads. Yes they could be improved As you have shown but they certainly are function as is.

Awesome. I saw that it had been delivered but was going to follow up just to make sure. One recommendation. Move the wind deflector down one setting on the holes along the angled part of the side rails. I have had some report a whistle at the setting you are showing it at, not all but some.

Working on a cover for the fairing Zach. This will sit on top of the aluminum fairing, and if everything goes right, it will light up nicely. :D

I'm cutting 1/4" acrylic sheet on a laser table. The image is cut in reverse on the back of the sheet. I'll put a strip of color changing led's across the bottom. The parts that are just cut into the acrylic should light up.

I have the original image of the 2nd gen with a standard bed, so that's not an issue. I can convert practically any image for the covers.

Can't use polycarbonate with the laser cutter. The fumes are poisonous, as in chlorine gas, which also destroys the laser. Don't wanna be the guy that does that.

I wanted to share this to illustrate the sheer versatility of this product:

Put my PrInSu racks to good use last week - picked up a bunch of 4'x10' sheets of mesh I had special ordered. Fork lifted the pallet right on top & with a few ratchet straps I was good to go. [IMG]

Finished the install today, but the weatherstrip was a pain in the ass. I opted to remove them completely until I can cut them to fit. The rack is just awesome Zach, Ill send some more pics tomorrow!!!:yay:

    Not as good looking:notsure:

I have had mine off on one side for about a year now with no ill effects. If you look really close, have OCD, or are tall and see the location regularly it might bother you. I am shorter so I don't see it unless I make an effort to look up there and usually don't have OCD too bad.

It doesn't affect water proofing though.

I tried drilling a hole to make the spacers fit but it appears there is a metal strip in the middle of the weatherstrip that made the drill bit turn a bit sideways. In the end I was able to pass the biggest drill bit I had but the spacer wouldn't pass trough. It was close to 5:00pm so I ripped both strips and installed the rack without them. My buddy is bringing some sort of scissor to cut the strips as close to the spacers to keep it as factory looking as possible!!!:D
