Look up shudder and you will see that a large majority of every 2nd gen tacoma has a problem with the annoying shudder. A lot of people are having varying shudders with a variety of fixes. Mine was off idle and at about 50 and 70 mph. One option is flip the carrier bearing, shim the rear diff, or do what I did with the new driveshaft. I chose the double cardan since I am planning he on lifting my truck a little Nd this will help with compensation of driveshaft angles.

There really isn't anything wrong with the driveshaft but the design and this is problem and Toyota won't recognize the problem.

Daaaamn this is a good deal for someone. You'll never know when you trash your shaft on a rock and need a new one, $200 is cheaper than a tow truck!

I was wondering if there was a difference between your driveshaft with the accordion piece versus one that doesn't because mine doesn't

"The Accordion" piece is just a boot over the slip joint. Not sure if there is a difference.

The cost of the Tom Woods double cardan is $480 shipped.

    Hey a few quick questions:
1- Is this driveshaft still available?
2- Can you ship to New Mexico?
3- Any reason it wouldnt fit on my 2009 4X4 stick shift Taco?

    Thanks.

Still available. Yes $200 shipped to NM. You will have to do your own research on driveshaft application.

    Let me know. Thanks

Well the problem is that I live in NC but my driveshaft is in FL since I'm currently on a contract there, so I would have to ship it to VA. If someone is local to FL than make me an offer to pick it up.
