thanks. must be the wrong season or priced too high; no one has shown any interest. I want to sell the truck next early spring, and thought without the cap a potential buyer would have one less thing to grumble about.

 

I have the same cap and love it! I wish I could have found a great deal on a used one like you are offering, someone will get a great deal, I think I paid like $1500 for mine new. GLWS free bump.

 

If I had not purchased this ARE this past winter I would have considered it. That IS a good deal for the 180. I see you have it on CL too. Keep it listed and bumping here. You might even be able to call cap city in Warwick and see if they will try to sell it to someone who does not want to wait. :dunno: I don't know what their policy is...

I bought my first cap (1973 - new Ford F-100) from Cap City. I think it was 150$ - 10$ less than Arlington Trailer. it was a "Jewel" - even had paneling on the walls.

 

I'll be driving up to Manhattan in July. I'm possibly interested.

Are the windows just sliders or windoors? Screens? Slider between cab and cap?

 

the side windows slide (took out the screen fabric). slider between the cab also drops down & is removable for cleaning.

there's no rack. my truck is an access cab so I'm not sure if that's considered a long bed. if you send me a PM with your regular email, I have several more pictures available. it's just a pia to resize & post here. thanks for the interest.
