I have a grey 5' softopper that is like new; I recently traded my short bed truck on a long bed....now I need a 6' softopper. I'd prefer to trade for a 6' grey, but might consider other colors.

If you're interested in buying the 5' outright, make an offer!

    SOLD

Good point. $500 sound reasonable? It's like new, honestly.

For those asking/interested: the attached pic is the only one I have that shows the button snaps I installed on the rear flap of my softopper. The sides snap down using the same snaps (pre-installed from the manufacturer), and using the snaps on the back flap is a better (IMO) approach than using Velcro. The Velcro definitely works, perhaps too well, and makes opening the rear flap a bit more of a process than it needs to be.

I drilled 3 pilot holes in the tailgate, then screwed in the base of the button snap (self tapping like a sheet metal screw). The snap kit I purchased (Lowe's) contained 6 or 8 snaps (the base which is fastened to the truck and the 2 piece button which is fastened to the softopper equals one complete button snap ) and a few small tools which make the installation easier. You basically poke a hole through the canvas, then sandwich the canvas between the two pieces of the button snap and use the supplied "anvil" to mushroom the underside of the snap, which firmly fixes it to the canvas.

The softopper I'm selling has 3 snaps attached across the rear flap. You will need to install 3 snap bases onto your tailgate OR just install a Velcro strip across the top edge of the tailgate...the underside of the rear flap still of course has the Velcro in place from the factory.
