    SOLD

Update 8 June: The Bluetooth module sold on another site and is no longer included. Price has been dropped significantly to reflect the change.

Returning my wife's car back to stock setup before trading it in. That leaves me with this Kenwood DNX5120 just laying around. This unit is in great condition and has been problem free from the time of purchase. I originally had this unit in my truck before it made the move to my wife's car. Back when I installed it I wrote a up review and put the link my signature block, so check that out if you have any questions.

Anyway, please message me or post here if you have any questions. All I ask is that you read the entire post first. TW price is $300 shipped to your door. Paypal only, depending on the time payment is received I may ship the same day.

    What's Included:

    - Kenwood DNX5120
    - KCA-iP301V iPod cable
    - Unit Wiring Harness, GPS Antenna, Mini-USB Cable,

    Additional Items You'll Need:

    - Toyota Wiring Harness (unless you're brave enough to splice into the existing wiring, easier just to spend the $10)
    - Scosche or Metra Dash Kit (I just realized that I don't have the plastic mounting brackets that came with the Scosche kit pictured, you may be able to use the metal brackets off your stock unit but I am not sure so the dash kit may or may not work, either way it's getting tossed in)

    Features of the DNX5120:

    - in-dash DVD/CD player with internal amplifier (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels)
    - 6.1" touchscreen
    - built-in memory for navigation with maps of Canada, USA, and Puerto Rico
    - live traffic and weather data available with optional TMC receiver
    - plays DVD, DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3/WMA/AAC files on disc
    - plays JPEGs on CD, DVD, or USB
    - 3-band EQ with six preset tone curves
    - compatible with Kenwood iPod adapter, Bluetooth adapter, HD Radio™ tuner, and satellite radio
    - inputs: USB input, front-panel A/V input, rear-view camera input
    - outputs: 4-channel preamp outputs (front, rear), A/V output
    - compatible with most factory steering wheel audio controls (adapter required)

In addition to the headunit I also have the KCA-iP301V iPod cable.

The KCA-iP301 "gives you high-speed access to the music and video on your Video iPod or iPhone through your compatible Kenwood receiver. The USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod, so you can navigate through your music files with the Kenwood's controls while you view song info on its display. The miniplug connectors transfer the music and video from your iPod to the stereo's audio and video inputs".

    Details:

This unit has the most up to date firmware available (Kenwood 3.2.0 & Garmin 2.80) and the second most recent map update available from Garmin (2012 version, 2013 is the latest). This unit was updated just this week with custom navigation Points of Interests (POIs) for all red light and speeding cameras in the US. Granted it's possible for some cameras to be overlooked in the database but I believe it said something like 14,000 POIs were loaded when I did the update so it's pretty inclusive. POIs are easy to update yourself with the included mini-usb cable.

Another update, which is in no way practical, are a bunch of different car skins from Garmin I loaded onto the navigation unit. Instead of a boring car icon you can have Homer's car from the Simpsons, a X-Wing, or even a Chipotle burrito cruising around the map as you drive. Completely ridiculous but it's worth mentioning I guess.

No way I could let it go for $300. I think $400 is priced to move when you consider everything that's included and shipping. If it sits around for a month or two then I might drop the price just to make some space.

    Got the POIs from http://www.gps-data-team.com/

I think it's like $7 for a year's worth of access to the updates. There are other free alternatives out there but just paying the $7 for quality POIs was so much easier.
