Shot you an email at the address listed on your site, but figured I'd post here as well. Wondering how quickly I could get my hands on one of these. I'm in WV and need a solution for putting two bikes in my truck by 7/24. If I need to I can find another way, but this is exactly what I got on here looking for. Feel free to PM or respond to my email. Email is probably better but I'll check here as well. Thanks.

Thanks for the purchase, I got your bar out in the mail today. You should have it by next Monday.

I also wanted to add a tip: If you are transporting two bikes, use an extra strap to tie the two bikes together at the bars / grips. If you have full wrap hand guards (aka: Bark-Busters), that makes it very easy. If you don't, then just wrap the strap several times around one grip then over to the next, then back. Doing this will keep the bikes from leaning to the outside when turning.... which will happen no matter which "motorcycle bed bar" you use. See the pics below.
Another tip: I always run a strap over the back tire(s) using the rear D-rings (near the tail gate). Very simple for one bike; If you have two bikes in the bed, put a cooler between the rear wheels to keep them from sliding inward, towards eachother.
Both of these tips help keep the bike(s) firmly in place while you travel to your destination.

    I hope this helps.....

    Jesse

Received my tie down bar and wanted to post a quick review:

First off, working with Jesse was great. I was on a time crunch when I learned about these bars and he was quick in getting mine sent to me. Can't thank you enough for the prompt service.

The bar was stupid easy to install. I'd guess it took less than 30 minutes. The hardest part was lining up a couple bolt holes. There's a tip to use a screwdriver to help line the holes up which worked for one side by the other was a little more frustrating. I used a Torx wrench which seemed to work a little better. I added a picture below to show what I mean.

Hauled the bikes 1200 miles last weekend and they didn't budge. Like he mentions above, the best way for two is to tie the bikes together at the handlebars. Super stable and a little redundant for safety. I took a couple corners pretty fast and my 430 lb BMW barely even swayed.

Awesome product and I'll be getting a lot of use out of it in the future.

The way mine were tied down is that you have them tied together and then the tie downs on the outside of each bike. I feel confident they would have survived the entire trip like that. The inner straps are just a redundancy for my own sanity. Since they are really being pulled apart by the outer straps, I don't really see how they could possibly contact each other unless a tie down snapped or you failed to secure a tie down properly. Also, if you look in my picture I didn't use the hand guards to tie them together, but instead used the handlebars themselves.

Think about ditching the corner gusset, a gas can fits in there really nicely without it!
    Either way nice job.

I'm Super INterested in getting one of these. I have the DCSB.. would i still be able to haul 2 bikes ? I realize the tires will be halfway off the tail gate.

    Thanks Carson403,
Yes, you would still be able to haul two bikes (as long as you don't exceed the tailgate rating) with the Motorcycle Tie-Down Bar.

We sold our entire stock with the Labor Day Sale..... The next batch should be ready to ship in 4 - 6 weeks. I will post when they are available.

    Thanks,

    Jesse

I am hoping to have more Bed Bars available to ship in time for X-Mas.
These are going off to powdercoat this week - Hopefully the powdercoater can turn these around quickly.....

I really want one of these but I also really love that I can close my tailgate with my CRF450 loaded diagonally. Has anyone tried loading their bike with the front tire in one of the outer wheel chocks and the rear tire swung around diagonally to the opposite side rear corner? I would be curious if the tailgate would close that way.
