After seeing this post, I did some quick research, posed some questions to the manufacturer of this bracket and ordered ours today. Really excited about it.

As an aside: nowhere in this thread could I find what metal this bracket is made of. slybrackets.com stated it is aluminum and if purchasing the painted one, it's double dipped. Just in case somebody else may want to know.

Update: Just received my bracket in the mail this afternoon August 7, 2014. Will wait until we receive the plate before install.

Update: License plates arrived today and both my son and I rushed to install them using the no-drill license plate bracket from www.slybrackets.com

For someone who is not mechanically inclined, the photos on the website coupled with the printed instructions which accompanied the brackets, were enough for this old guy to install them literally in 2 minutes. As advertised, it's sturdy and solid!

Excellent job and cudos to www.slybrackets.com for such a fine product.
