ALRIGHT LADIES TIME TO SETTLE DOWN NOW. THE PARTS ARE OFF THE TRUCK AND SAYS GOING TO SEND. THIS THREAD WORKED. August 1, 2014 1800

Well first of all, didn't think I would ever have to do this but its been too long.

I purchased firestone air bags on June 23rd 2014 from member top guns. He stated he had the full set up ready to go; well that wasn't the case.

I went to his house and he couldn't get a few parts off, I told him that was fine. (I was heading to alaska for 2 weeks; so no hurry) and said well when you get the other parts off, just ship the rest of the parts to my house and gave him my address. I also suggested just to go to any local shop and ask if they can take off if you can't take off yourself.

Now it's been over a month and a week and still haven't got the rest of the parts I paid for. Hasn't replied to my last txt either. Just tired of asking for the parts I paid for.

That is a weak excuse.....if the bolts are frozen, sawzall to the rescue...this isn't rocket science...

hate to see anyone get put off like this, it irritates the h3ll out of when it happens in my world...

    hope he comes through...

you both live in SoCal? maybe a visit is in order, even if you have to drive 50 miles or whatever....And bring some tools for the tool...LOL

    I'm saying the same thing.

Well, went to his house and trusted he would send the rest of the parts soon. gave him two weeks because I was on my way to the airport when I purchased them.

Yea I called Firestone, they sent me to another dealer that sells them and has parts, their system was down and couldn't get prices.

Yup. Just take to a shop with air tools and they'll have it off in no time. Think I'm just going to forget about dealing with him and hopefully that place firestone referred me to still has the parts I need.

Dumb bastard if he's deliberately trying to fuck you over, being he's a local and all. Topguns, stop with the bull and give the man what he paid for. You fucked up by not considering the price of removal, don't fuck up again by fucking over someone that can kill you with a tea cup. I'm down to caravan to dudes house ;)

don't let him off the hook, it just fuels this behavior even more....I would be knocking on his door, have a sawzall, some PB blaster and tools with you, and take them off myself if that is what is comes down to...I will bet an 18" breaker bar and some elbow grease will solve the problem ASAP.

people like this are the scum of the earth in the auto parts world...

Hey guys, I cant find my pitch fork. Does anyone have one I can borrow?

Im a trusting person especially when it comes to Tw seller transactions as opposed to craigslist. This is something that could have happened to me. Hope it works out.

I don't know what kind of deal he cut you, by the time you purchase the proper parts to install you will probably be spending what it costs for a complete new bag ride setup...

Yea. I was too trusting. Just thought he would have two bolts and the upper bracket off by now.

probably is going to cost me $$$ I called the parts place and they don't have in stock or not available so looks like i'm probably going to have to pay some $$$ to get the parts I need.
